Reflection
Constant communication is the key to any relationship thus, it is important within the classroom as well. Students, educators, administration, parents, and any member of the classroom community benefit from clear communication. In my classroom I plan to have a website that will allow for my parents to collaborate with me as well as the other parents in my class. It is important that your students’ educational journey be cohesive with their peers, even those in different classes. Taking time to plan and collaborate with other educators on your team will allow for you all to be on the same page with content and truly provide students with an interdisciplinary educational journey (ex. Tell the librarian what unit you are one so students can do S.T.E.M. projects related to concepts in the classroom). New technologies are emerging every day that aid in collaboration and connection it is important to utilize these to maximize clear and proficient communication between all parties involved in the educational journey.
